The Göhren Beach New Year 2026 turns the wintry beach promenade of the Baltic resort of Göhren on Rügen (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) into a medieval village by the sea for the turn of the year. Under the motto "Pirates conquer Göhren", pirate lore and a medieval market come together right on the beach.

Highlights:

• a large medieval village with taverns and traders
• a pirate crew with booming cannons and mock battles
• acrobatics, live music and craft demonstrations
• campfires in the sand, mulled wine and mulled mead
• a fire dance instead of fireworks on the beach, plus high fireworks over the pier
