The Chemnitz Cloister Christmas 2026 is the medieval part of the Chemnitz Christmas market and takes visitors in Saxony back into the world of medieval crafts during Advent. At ancient-looking stalls, craftspeople and pedlars offer their wares just as they might have in the Middle Ages.

Highlights:

• around 30 stalls with crafts: stonemason, smith, strap-cutter and weaver
• stage programme with musicians, jesters and fire-eaters
• town-hall and tower tours with the Chemnitz tower-keeper
• mead, mulled wine and hearty food from the market kitchen
