The Advent in the Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov 2026 brings Advent to life just as it was in the Middle Ages at the archaeological open-air museum in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria). Among reconstructed houses, visitors with lanterns and hoods experience old customs and wintry legends.

Highlights:

• Christmas tours exploring old customs and traditions
• wintry legends performed by the festival society "Wir im Bärnauer Land"
• medieval crafts and camp life in the museum village
• an atmospheric walk by lantern light
• late November 2026 at the Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov
